Our Challenge 147 offers you the opportunity to ride acros vineyards and mountains for one of the most challenging routes of The Penedès. We’ve gone to design a ride, departure and finale in Vilafranca, which will test our limits with four climbs, Les Ventoses, La Torreta, El Pontonenc and Font-Rubí. The route take place on territory which pro-cycling riders compete every year at La Volta a Catalunya or La Vuelta a España. Today’s itinerary makes its way through small villages, where we recommend stop for rest or just have a drink. Our first climb starts right out of St. Jaume dels Domenys, and the last one from Guardiola. In La Llacuna, kilometer 90, will be awaiting for us with “esmorzar de forquilla” (breakfast/brunch tasting menu).
